How much are your favourite shops doing to stop the spread of infection?

Not only shops, what about your favourite restaurant, bar, hotel, department store, workplace, Doctor, Dentist, hair salon or beauty clinic, schools and every public place? 

We look for food hygiene ratings because we care about food poisoning. If we fear viruses we need to see a sign that shows good hygiene practices are in place not only to keep us safe from coronaviruses but also what about all the other infections in the air and that can be caught simply trying on clothes or touching anything others with infections have touched before. 

Has the pandemic woken you up to the fact that in our hygiene is just not good enough? 

The pandemic is very serious but influenza and TB can be lethal too. This is not being neurotic or scaremongering. It is about wanting a long and healthy life for our families and everyone. It is also about protecting the NHS by reducing the work load for Doctors and Hospitals. 

Even colds can be debilitating and still no vaccine but all would end if we stopped breeding and sharing our germs. It is time we cleaned up our act. 

New viruses and infections are regularly delivered to the UK by the millions of visitors that arriving from far flung places every year. If there is no pressure to reduce infection spreading we are constantly at risk.

Ask your Doctor about new viruses and more importantly what they are doing to protect you from infection from all the airborne viruses and infected surfaces in their waiting room.
